How we check

Every fact here comes from the museum's own website. Nobody can pay to change a listing or move up the list.

Where the facts come from

For each place we read the museum's admission or visit page. We note who gets in free, on which days and hours, whether you need a ticket, where to park, and any closure. Each listing links to that page and shows the day we read it.

How often we look again

• Free days we tell you about: within 72 hours before the day.
• Closures: every week.
• Everything else: at least once a month.

When something changes

If a museum closes or changes its rules, we take the free label down first. Then we check the official page and update the listing.

What we leave out

No photos we don't have the rights to, no copied museum descriptions, and no reviews. If the museum's site doesn't say it, we say "not listed" instead of guessing.
